Application Support Analyst
We are looking to speak to Application Support Analysts!
Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize user requests and incidents based on urgency and impact.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors for resolution; identify and implement workarounds.
- Communicate effectively with users, management, and IT stakeholders.
- Perform daily checks (morning/evening), on-call duties, and routine support tasks.
- Handle change requests, urgent data updates, and production deployments.
- Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement for recurring issues.
- Contribute to documentation, testing, and business analysis when needed.
- Participate in major events (BCP, DR, etc.) in coordination with teams.
Key Skills:
- Strong communication; able to explain technical issues in business terms.
- Solution-oriented, business-focused mindset.
- Basic technical skills: SQL, Unix/Linux, Microservices, CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and automation.
- Analytical, calm under pressure, and multi-tasking abilities.
- Exposure to IT operations and stakeholder management.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years in application support.
- Banking/financial industry experience is a plus.
