Senior Application Support Analyst
Seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to oversee monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement of critical Capital Markets applications. This role involves close collaboration with business users, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain application monitoring in collaboration with development teams.
- Manage daily/monthly batch processes and support overnight operations during Singapore business hours.
- Handle user requests, incidents, and service tickets (L1/L2 support) for trading, risk, and back-office systems.
- Generate and analyze reports on data quality, particularly during monthly risk cycles.
- Maintain knowledge bases and contribute to long-term issue resolution with development teams.
- Drive continuous improvements, automation, and non-functional monitoring requirements.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in application support, preferably in Capital Markets.
- Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle and financial products (FX, Bonds, IRD, etc.).
- Proficient in SQL, Unix/Linux scripting, XML, PL/SQL, MQ, Control-M.
- Familiar with monitoring tools like ITRS Geneos and Elasticsearch.
- ITIL certified with strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure.
Work Hours:
- 8:45 AM - 6:30 PM (Singapore Time)
- Weekend/on-call support as needed.
